The NCA is full of amazing people doing extraordinary things for the people they serve – our patients, services users, and their families. However, data and people’s experience tell us that some people suffer harm from unfair access to services and employment opportunities. There is growing evidence that the factors that lead to this unfairness and discrimination are systemic and long standing.
The Equality, Equity and Inclusion Report (EEI) was presented to the Board of Directors in March 2024 and provided the Board with assurance that we are not only compliant with our legislative and regulatory requirements but that we aim to go further and strive to create inclusive services and an inclusive workplace.
