We are incredibly sad to hear of the death of our treasured colleague Gina Huxley.
Gina died on Tuesday (April 13th) night after a very short illness.
Gina was our Senior Clinical Manager for Patient Flow and worked at Salford Royal for 24 years. She was passionate about her work, her colleagues and was incredibly proud to work for Salford Royal. She would often refer to it as ‘my hospital’ given its importance in her life and that of her family.
We know that Gina was a great friend to many of you. With her knowledge and wisdom, many people viewed her as a ‘go to’ colleague for any information, help or advice that they needed – and Gina would always willingly give it.
Gina’s death was extremely unexpected and we know that colleagues will be immensely saddened and shocked. Our thoughts are very much with Gina’s family at this time.
