Event Details

We are holding flag raising ceremonies at each of our Care Organisations. Local veterans and reservists units are invited and it is respectfully requested that any staff wishing to attend the short ceremony are able to do so if duties allow. All are welcome to attend.

There will be a speech of recognition delivered by each site Chief Officer followed by the parade being brought to attention with the armed forces flag raised to the accompaniment of piper Mr Richard France. The last post will be played with a two-minute silence broken by reveille and parade dismissal. Please see the itinerary below for times and event locations.

• Fairfield General Hospital (Bury) 9:30am – Side of Front Roundabout, second Flag Pole (Meet for 9:20am)
• Rochdale Infirmary 11:30 am – Front of R.I. Flag Pole (Meet for 11:20 am)
• The Royal Oldham Hospital 1pm – Front of ROH Flag Pole (Meet for 12:50 pm)
• Salford Royal 3.30pm – Front Main Entrance Flag Pole (Meet for 3:20 pm)
