The Health and Social Care recruitment event will be hosted at Middleton Arena, Lance Corporal Joel Halliwell VC Way Middleton M24 1AG, 9am – 3pm.
This event is aimed at candidates who are either:
• Interested in pursuing a career in health and social care
• Searching for employment opportunities within the sector
• Looking to change career from another sector and would like to bring their transferrable skills and qualities within the health and social care sector
• Returning to work after a break
• Looking for volunteering opportunities
• Interested in pre-employment programmes such as CV support, skills training, and interview techniques

We are bringing together many health and social care providers and employers across Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, to give you the opportunity to learn more about the range of career options in the sector and showcase the exciting employment opportunities in all areas of health and social care.
This event is a one stop shop for everything you need to take the next step in a career in the NHS health and social care.
What’s happening on the day?
People working within a wide range of careers across the Health and Social Care sector will be available to share their insight of working in the industry, giving you the opportunity to network, ask questions and find out about the current opportunities on offer.
There will be numerous jobs being recruited to on the day including healthcare assistant, administration, support worker, joiner, porter, catering, domestics and many more. Employers will be interviewing throughout the day. So, if you’re ready to be interviewed please bring your CV, and you could be leaving the event with a job offer!
As well as employers, we will also have various partners supporting the event who will be on-hand to support you with your CV, interview skills, and signpost you to employment and training programmes to support your next step

Middleton Arena is located two minutes from the town centre, bus station and additional pay and display car parking. By car, Middleton is approx five minutes from the M60 (Junction 19) and the M62 (Junction 19) and 15 minutes from Manchester City Centre.
By Train: The closest railway station to Middleton Arena is Mills Hill (approx. 1.5 miles). The TFGM bus timetable for services can be found .
