A sensory memorial garden has been revealed at The Royal Oldham Hospital in memory of the late Jordan Ryan who sadly passed away at the age of 10.
Mum, Julie Ryan, has been maintaining a small area in hospital gardens for many years and invited the Mayor of Oldham, Dr Zahid Chauhan, for an official opening on a day that would have marked Jordan's 21st birthday.
Alistair Craig, Oldham Chief Officer said: “It is heartbreaking to lose a child with the memorial garden being a place of reflection in honor of Jordan. A huge thank you to her mum Julie who has spent many hours making a beautiful area that can be enjoyed by all including children.”
