Update: 15:00 22/8/24 The road has now re-opend, there may be delays over the coming days as United Utlities continue to fix the problem.
If you are travelling to the Royal Oldham Hospital today for an appointment or to visit friends/relatives, please allow extra time for your journey. We are currently experiencing delays on Rochdale Road directly outside the hospital due to a burst water main.
All hospital services and the water supply to the hospital remain unaffected, so please attend your appointment as planned but allow extra time to arrive on site due to road closures in place. If you are arrive late for your appointment, we will endeavour to see all patients affected.
Please be aware there is new additional pay and display car parking available on Westhulme Steet, accessible via Featherstall Road North.
We also have the Royal Rover bus on site helping to transfer patients from the Oldham Athletic car park to the main hospital site. Please call 07972 142907 to request a pick up.
