Rochdale Care Organisation’s HMR children’s community services team based at Callaghan House can now take advantage of an inflation busting Car Club pilot scheme.
Five new cars can be booked out by nurses for patient visits, saving money on petrol, wear and tear to their own vehicles, mileage/depreciation, and insurance costs.
The pilot was introduced to help staff out during the current cost of living crisis.
If successful, Car Club could be introduced at other sites across the Trust.
Lisa Brunning, Community Staff Nurse, said:
“This will help me out financially and it’s great the Care Organisation has done something to help community staff out.
“The current high cost of fuel has been putting pressure on us in particular.”
