This is our third year running this study day and this will be the first year running the event face to face.
This study day is part of the Salford National Reference Centre strategic plan to promote multi[1]professional education and training. The event aims to bring real life experience to complex case management whilst networking with colleagues from across the North and other regions. It is aimed at physicians, pharmacists, surgeons, dietitians, specialist nutrition nurses and psychologists working in the UK. The day reflects speakers and experts from the Northern Intestinal Failure Network and includes case studies, patient experience and engagement as well as expert panels. Learning objectives include understanding multi-disciplinary team working, nutritional optimisation and safe parenteral nutrition prescribing.
