Getting Active

Having surgery puts a lot of strain on your body. Similar to how an individual would train and prepare their body in the weeks leading up to a sporting event, we would like you to train your body.

This preparation will help minimise health risks after your surgery, minimise the risks of infections and help you to recover more quickly.

Getting active will also improve your physical health and psychological wellbeing.

Eligible patients may have been invited to prehab sessions. In general we would like everyone to aim to complete 30 minutes of activity daily.
