Your local stoma care specialist has reams of knowledge and volumes of information for you. Please keep in touch and use us as a resource.

You may feel that now you are recovering from your operation you want to talk to someone else in a similar situation or even swap tips with them.

Stoma Care Specialist Nursing Service at Salford Royal Hospital

• To provide a high-quality specialist nursing service to you and your family in the management and support of your stoma, pre and post operatively and on transition into the community
• We also address all lifestyle issues by providing practical information, counselling and a listening ear to you and your family by helping you to achieve your maximum independence and gain your self-esteem
• It is an open-ended service for which you can continue to use for as long as you need to

• Stoma Nurse led clinic by appointment only every Thursday between 12.30 - 4pm in the Main Outpatients Department, Area 1, Salford Royal Hospital.
